@North ave beach

It' so extraordinary!!!!
I can't say anything when I arrived at the beach because it's not a lake! The weather was too cold to put my toe into the water but seeing the large body of the water is just enough to refresh my mind. It's just... so nice!

In spite of the low temperture the early spring sun was so dazzling :)

HAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!! Chicago on his palm.

We went to Nookies after watching the cool water. It was good as many reviews say and it's like a typical casual American restaurant that reminds me of some scenes in Sex and the City. It was full of people enjoying the food and chatting away even though we went there around 2PM.

@Nookies

Waiting for food when you're hungry is so painful!! Actually we numbed with the hunger!!!!

Oh!! Yummy Yummy!!
We explored the 'old town' and it looks quite different from the other district of Chicago but  I love it! :) I saw some reviews about this part of Chicago, which said that I might feel the old exotic things, and it's so true.

See? I love this kind of atmosphere because those things are not in Korea.
 I was not ready to let my spring break go away yet so went to IKEA after completing all my plans to estimate for new furniture which will fill my new home in May.

I don't want to go home!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt like I just got married while seeing a lot of pretty furniture and choosing some of them with JH and I couldn't be happier at that moment :) and now, for making my happiness last, I hope my homework would disappear!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, Virginia!

@Detroit

We stayed up all night because we felt like our hearts kept running!

It's the second coffee but didn't work.

Just thinking of this moment made my heart flutter

@Virginia ③

@Winery
We went wine tasting and it's my first time to taste various types of wine. I'm supposed to sip my wine but couldn't.

You might not recognize my flushed face but I totally got drunk after 10 glasses of wine.
I went there for the wine tasting but did the wine-drinking :D Good job!!!

I had a great time :)

Our souvenirs from the Villa Appalaccia winery. Yoonsheal's an artist and has a lot of art tools in her workplace so
she craved our name on the glasses after arriving at home, which made the glasses more special.

Oh!! Two men made delicious chocolate!!

I think it's the second time for him to cook because I don't let him make anything. He's so annoying while preparing lunch or dinner like this, " where's the salt?", " where's the sugar?" , "Do I need to slice them?'. He keeps questioning about the procedures so finally makes me crazy.
It' so beautiful ;)

Yoonsheal said what I'm doing is completely wrong because I'll never have a special dinner made by JH in this way and this is so right. She said I have to suppress my urge to get him away and keep waiting. It might be the fastest way I can achieve the spiritual enlightenment!! Phew!!

@ the cute local store
I wanted to buy the 'dress-up-doll' but bought a pretty apron because I'm a housewife! HAHAHAHAHAH!!!

This is the apron I bought at the store. When I first looked at it it stole my mind!! Did you see the curved hem?? I love the color :D

They sell their own ice cream and the taste was so good!!

With my friend :)
In Korea, age is important to set a rank in a relationship and I'm pretty sure it sounds really odd to  American. Younger women call older women 'Unni' and older men 'Op-ba (it sounds something like this) and never call the older women a friend and of course it does not mean they are not or cannot be 'friends'! It's just matter of an appellation. So it's kind of wrong to call a woman even one year older than you her own name and you have to call her 'XX Unni'. For example, Yoonsheal Unni holding an ice cream (her name is Yoonsheal). Learning other country's culture is so interesting, isn't it?

He's a third year Ph. D student of Mechanical engineering at VT and his work is so great!! This 'real transformer' is just the very first step in his career and finally he became the first engineer creating a humanoid robot, Charley, in the U.S and Charley's going to be displayed in a museum. it's really awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

@Virginia ①

Virginia is so beautiful!!! It looks like window XP wall paper :) I felt a little bit bad because I hoped the weather would be warmer and the sun would shine but it was nice.

Fun place to go :)

@Todai

Todai is a Japanese restaurant buffet which is located near Wood field mall.

There is a variety of tempura!! I love tempura which makes me fatter but at this moment, i couldn't care about my fat, especially my thigh. I don't understand why does my fat stick to my thigh? I'd feel better if they moved to my upper body. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!

I respect his privacy and his request.

In fact, our main purpose is IKEA. We have been planing to move out this year so I want to see some furniture that will fill my future home and IKEA is the "worst place" to choose furniture because I couldn't stay calm!!! They look so lovely with affordable price which is really good to students :)

My future study room-AHAHAH!

My future kitchen.....?? Look at the granite! is it so beautiful?? I had never been interested in the kitchen stuff but after marriage,  I have additional things to consider under tight budget.
 or

"Hello~: )"

My future living room?? we already have the red sofa which is not this brand's product but I think this kind of feeling is kind of good. I couldn't decide anything! Brown looks intelligent, white looks like "newly wed couple",  light brown is so warm to me and red is my all time favorite!! Could you provide to me a useful advice to decorate my home??? I'm a complete novice!
